What To Do With A Concrete Floor...

So I end up with tons of clients who have basements in new construction and they want to make the space kid friendly almost always and do some fun things. We are in the middle of a bath install in a client's basement where we took advantage of the concrete foundation and just painted it! It's pretty simple you just need paint and really good sealer! The dealer can be quite expensive but will still come in less than a stone tile. Plus what fun is this??!!

Coming Together

It's a quick calming moment for me when I see our spaces come together. In a busy stressful day when deliveries are late and everyone seems to have a million excuses for frankly everything seeing furniture arrive and be placed let's me sit back and breath. I absolutely love this room with the pre war moldings. The bright white on every wall modernizes the details. We chose Chantilly lace by BM here because besides this room much of the hallways and a few other main rooms lack good natural lighting. Chantilly lace is such a bright white it almost glows. You have to be careful with it in spaces with good direct light because it can be glaring but here it was absolutely perfect. The sofa we ordered online to save cost, knowing we would not know the exact color until we saw it in person. Since its a little more beige than I was hoping, I'll add grey pillows to tie it in. Unless I told you no one would ever know it wasn't the perfect combination from the beginning! Sometimes saving cost comes with a little risk involved but sometimes it's just worth it!
